Interactive Math Games - Oswego


What is it?
  • There are links to create your own interactive math games as well as the option to play games that have already been created.

How can you use it?
  • Students can use the games as a fun interactive way to reinforce and learn math skills.
  • Students can use the games to instill a sense of competition and a desire to win while at the same time practicing basic skills and increasing speed and mathematical fluency.
  • Students can work in cooperative groups to create games for their peers that can be posted on the Oswego website.

Why would you use it?
  • This a fun way for students to practice math skills both at school and at home.
  • Students can work with their peers to decide on the type of game and questions to be asked and then actually create the game.
  • PRO: Teachers and Students can create their own interactive games.
  • CON: Many of the concepts are even too basic for middle level learners.
